Please join Shira Deener, Head of School, and Israeli faculty as they reflect on the events in Israel. They will showcase a program that was held for our Middle School students to clarify the conditions leading to the present state of affairs. The program drew inspiration from the Hartman Institute's educational strategy of the "Head, Heart, and Hands: Learning, Emotion, and Action". At the conclusion of our Tea, we will have the opportunity to put our own heads, hearts, and hands to work. We can then join our grandchild/ren or special friend/s for the all-school Kabbalat Shabbat at 1:30pm. (Program with Zoom option: 12:15-1:25pm; Kabbalat Shabbat (optional): 1:30-1:55pm). Light lunch will be served.
